Much of our work here at AccuPixel falls very much into the category called “photogrammetry with a purpose”. Often that purpose is about delivering what a client needs and very little of what we create can be shared, which is a real shame because some of the things we scan are…pretty cool!
But for those jobs or projects that can share then we typically reach for two hosting platforms; Construcked for the 3D mesh and Dronelab for the DEM and ortho photo.
Plenty of Choice for Photogrammetry- Why Host?
Good question…but very easy to answer why we use these two hosting sites:
- Public or private password protected included
- Accepts massive file uploads essential for photogrammetry
- High level of detail
- Mobile device to desktop ready
- Accepts or manages geo referenced data
- Friendly, helpful people!
In this world of digital instant and detached gratification we forget sometimes there are human beings that do the stuff that makes it all happen. The last point can be overlooked but both have listened to our suggestions for improvement and been there to help when needed.
By way of an example, here’s a chunk of photogrammetry history hosted by Construked showing the wreck of the SS Gwladmena in context of the surrounding islands:
And the ortho photo, as hosted by Dronelab:
We like to support them and what they do…hence why we are launching our big bundle.
The Big Bundle offer
Its a package deal containing just about everything we like and use for photogrammetry – except the camera and computer hardware:
- Agisoft Metashape Professional node locked license
- AccuPixel Standard and Professional Agisoft-endorsed online training
- 12 months subscription to Construkted – Dense Cloud and 3D models
- 12 months subscription to Dronelab – 2D ortho photos and DEMs
Total savings are close to £800.00 so if you are serious about photogrammetry then we believe this package offers great value for money.
In Summary, the photogrammetry bundle is available now in our online shop. It goes without saying we are here to help and offer advice! So, if you have any questions just drop Jose and myself a note via the contact page and we will get back to you.
