For two students:
Aimed at forensic crash investigators, surveyors, archaeologist and professional services requiring deeper knowledge of how to extract the best from 3DF Zephyr professional software to create scaled 3D reconstruction with accuracy and reliability.
This course is modular and self paced covering:
- Markers, coded control points and their application
- Scale bars and local scaling
- Using references and ground control points
- Orientation validation and corrections
- Working with laser scans and merging with photogrammetry
- Multispectral images
- Creating and Working with ortho photos and DEMs
- Drawing tools and analysis
- Exporting 2D and 3D content
The course comes with several sets of real world data from small objects to a complete survey of a Roman amphitheatre and RTK positioned drone images. A laser scan and photogrammetry dataset is included too but students are welcome and encouraged to work with their own data. Both Simon and Jose firmly believe learning is enhanced with real world challenges, and the course presents the challenges and workarounds necessary to deliver reliable results.
The really good news? This course includes access to the Zephyr Foundation course! The professional edition application and workflow really does build on the basic principles taught in the Zephyr Lite course and we will encourage experienced users to work through this before commencing the Zephyr course.
